Sponsorship, funding, locations and props

To help us produce the film Old Souls, we have had to approach various individuals and businesses to let us use their premises to film certain scenes in. We also require various props which we don't have available and are pleased to say that a number of people have very kindly helped us with our requests.

These will all be listed in the films credits and we will list them below.

From us all, a very big thank you.

City of Portsmouth College

We would like to thank the City of Portsmouth College for allowing us to screen the premiere of Lessons Learnt at the Highbury Campus and to also provide the light refreshments for the reception afterwards.
Also, for giving us the opportunity of learning new skills.

Kim Benford, Nanny Kim's Sewing Bee

We would like to thank Kim for making the cloaks for us for our medival scenes at Fort Nelson, they helped make the guards look very realistic.

Marine Fish Bar, Eastney,
Portsmouth

We would like to thank Mark for allowing us to take over his Fish & Chip shop to show the class and actors the preview of our film Lessons Learnt. A great evening and great fish & chips.
Recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Roy Coombes

We are pleased to say that Roy Coombes has kindly agreed to join us filming the 1920's nightclub scene in Sant Yago where he will be singing a song from that era.

Fort Nelson

Fort Nelson have very kindly agreed to let us film a number of scenes at the Fort and we can't thank them enough for all the help they are giving us.

Southsea Gallery

We would like to thank Southsea Gallery in Marmion Road, who have very kindly agreed to help us with some of the props needed for the film.

Sant Yago

Sant Yago in Clarendon Road, Southsea, have kindly agreed to let us use their premises to film one of the scenes for the film.

The fact that we can have a cocktail whilst filming had no bearing on our decision.

Boswells

Boswells have kindly donated cups for us to use whilst filming at Fort Nelson on Monday, 12th January. It is going to be very cold up there filming in the tunnels, so hot drinks all day will be much appreciated.

Fatface Foundation

Fatface Foundation have kindly lent a flask to take hot water in to Fort Nelson on Monday so we can keep all the crew and cast supplied with hot drinks throughout the day.
